What is it?

The « Childcare provider/Childminder » qualification is a level 3 certification registered in the National Register of Vocational Qualifications (RNCP). It is awarded by the professional branch of individual employers and domestic work.

It allows childcare providers to acquire the necessary childcare skills for children aged 0 to 18 years and to guarantee these skills to (future) employers.

As part of the certification process, the « Childcare Provider/Childminder » qualification can reduce the number of mandatory training hours required before you start caring for the first child. Additionally, it exempts you from certain tests when renewing your certification every five years, making it quicker and easier to obtain or renew your certification!

Are you employed by an individual employer? You can access up to 58 hours of training per year for any course, whether it leads to certification or not.

Personal Training Account

Finance part or all of your certification course regardless of your employment status. The only requirement is passing the final assessment.

Are you a job seeker? France Travail and your region may offer training grants to support your return to work.
