I have been a childminder for 25 years and I love my job. When I was living in the Ivory Coast, I was a primary school teacher, and I was teaching 72 kids aged from 6 to 12. When I moved to France, I wanted to continue working with children. I enrolled in a training program, even though I was nervous about taking an exam in front of a jury. Today, I’m still committed to improving my skills. I even advocate for training among colleagues I meet at the park, and I’ve helped some navigate their RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) process. I always tell them: “Love this job, fully commit to it, and you’ll see how beautiful it is!” It’s more than a job; it’s my passion.
