Getting certified

Certification marks the completion of a training program. With an official document certifying your acquired skills, you can reassure your (future) employers and boost your self-confidence in daily living tasks. It provides you with a sense of legitimacy!

Understanding
the certification

Certifications allow you to officially demonstrate your recognized skills to your (future) individual employers. They each have a specific purpose:

  • Highlight core professional skills:
Professional Qualification Titles
Skill sets
  • Highlight specialized skills:

France compétences

All IPERIA certifications are recognized and registered with France Compétences.

that certifications are useless...
YOU’RE WRONG!
Certification is a powerful way to gain recognition, showcasing your experience and your expertise to your individual employers. It enhances your peace of mind and boosts your confidence. IPERIA certifications are registered with France Compétences and are recognized by the professional branch. IPERIA certifications are listed in the collective agreement and entitle you to increased minimum benefits.
that a skill set has no value!
YOU’RE WRONG!
A skill set is also a certification that offers the same guarantees by highlighting specialized skills.
that certification courses are long!
SEE FOR YOURSELF!
Most programs are under 58 hours and therefore fall within the annual hour allotment of your skills investment plan.
that certification will cost you a lot of money...
YOU’RE WRONG!
Training and evaluation time can be covered by your skills investment plan and your individual learning account (CPF).

Testimonials

Amélie
Individual employer of a childcare provider

We quickly met the person who would be taking care of Lucas. Her extensive experience reassured us and the fact that she is certified was a significant advantage. The way she interacted with our son and his reaction to her convinced us that she was the qualified person to care for him. If our childminder wants to further develop her skills and have them recognized, we fully support that. Striving to improve and explore new methods benefits everyone.

Denise
Caregiver

When the person I care for saw that my skills were certified, she felt immediately reassured and confident. It shows individual employers that we haven't just learned on the job but have also received formal training. This gives them peace of mind.

Stéphanie
Childcare provider

I've cared for children with ADHD and Dys disorders and certification helped me understand them better. Initially, I wasn't prepared to care for these children. [...] These are children with special needs, and it’s essential to have proper training to meet these needs effectively. Certifying my skills made me more confident and reassured parents.

Jessica
Family assistant

Work is more accessible because employers are more likely to hire someone who can prove their skills rather than someone who can't: it reassures them.
